Navionics charts contain detailed sailing directions indicating depths, fairways, dangerous obstacles, etc., designed for navigators / chartplotters Lowrance, Furuno, Raymarine, Humminbird, etc.
Depending on the coverage area, maps are divided into XL9 Navionics+ (large coverage areas) and Small Navionics+ (small coverage areas). In all charts (both XL9 and Small), except for the Nautical Chart itself, the SonarCharts™ layer and Community Edits are available. SonarCharts™ is a bathymetric chart that, due to its greater saturation of depth data, allows you to display improved bottom detail (depth marks, color-graded isobaths) on the chartplotter screen. It is great for finding fishing spots at any depth.
It is possible to independently record logs and upload them to the card (depending on the equipment). Important! SonarCharts™ layer maps are generated automatically and are not designed for navigation.
Community Edits - Notes from other Navionics users. This is the most diverse information, such as buoys and landmarks, banks, parking lots and waterways, as well as useful information about gas stations, hospitals, police departments, bank branches, restaurants, shops, attractions, etc.
The Nautical Chart layer (nautical chart) is loaded upon sale. The SonarCharts™ and Community Edits layers are not available for all chartplotter models, so they are downloaded by the user after registering the chart as part of the free annual Freshest Data update.
ALL original Navionics maps are updatable! Unlimited updates throughout the year - for free! Navionics map update.
